News

From Kevin and Julie A. (Berry) Friesen (10/10/07)
We have some very exciting news. Julie is expecting twins, due in March. This was such a blessing from the Lord because we'd been trying for awhile. We can't wait to see them and hold them. We also celebrated our three year anniversary in July and are still living in Abbotsford, B.C. I am working as a carpenter, and am nearly done with my apprenticeship, after which, I'll be a Journeyman in carpentry. Julie got permanent residence in Canada in June of 2006 and has been working as a nanny since Sept. 2006 for a very nice family. After the twins are born, she will be a stay at home mom. That's about it from us!

From Josh and Chrystal Klassen:
Hi everyone! Well, in case yu did not know, Josh and I tied the knot
on August 2, 2003...this leads me to our next biggest announcement...
we are expecting a beautiful baby on September 18, 2006! We are both very excited and Josh is excited to have the extra help around the farm (I have to  remind him that it will be a few years before the baby will be able to drive a tractor)! We would love to hear from you and what God is doing in your life! Until then, God bless!

From Julie A. Berry:
Hey everyone! Well I am here at Columbia Int'l University (CIU) in South Carolina, and I love it here! The classes are great, the teachers are great, and the people are great. The Lord has taught me a lot while I've been here. Things are busy, but it's good. I'm working at The Olive Garden (LOTS of us CIU'ers work there!) so I can be just like Dave and Matt.. ;) I'm a hostess. Anyways, just thought I would say hello. Hope all is well.

From Vin Thomas:
Hola! How goes it? good i hope! i am going to school in alberta at prairie
this semester after finishing my first semester at the hill as a second year...it is pretty tough here and i am finding it very different from the hill! i miss everyone a bunch and only keep in contact with a handful of people...i wish that i could see y'all again! i am probably not coming back to school here in the fall, but will check into some schools in calgary so i can get more involved in ministry at my church. i am doing a lot of writing lately but i am not really quite sure what the Lord has in store for me in the way of music...i hope to keep you posted and to hear from y'all as well!! Vinneria
Col. 2:6 "Therefore as you have recieved Christ Jesus
our Lord, so walk in Him."

From Stephanie Timmer:
I'm attempting to finish my first year of Universty and handle living in
a city with so much wind! I'm excited to get back to Strathmore for the
Christmas holidays, and then back to school in January!

From Mouna Yasin:
Hi there! I am going to be back home in Libanon on the 8th of April.
I am excited to see what God has for me there and how He is going to use me.He has been so faithful and good and He is still going to be.
Praise the Lord for all the opportunities He gave me.

From Joel Kreider:
Hollo! (Hollo again, if you read the other one in the previous year) I wrote both of them at work where I do graphic arts stuff, and where
i am also working on becoming a full time missionary, so any money
from those of you who read this would be very, very muchappreciated -even money from under the sofa cushons! (I don't think that's spelled right) Oh well, you can pray if yer broke like me.Also-visit these sites- www.vinthomas.com- Vin Thomas' site , and Steve Adams' at www.saggybed.com Both of them have music to listen to!! Joel K. - Jude 24-25a Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and make you stand in the presence of His glory blamess with great joy, to the only God our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord... Ps.119:37-8 Turn away my eyes from looking at vanity, and revive me in Your ways. Establish Your word (promise) to Your servant as that which produces reverence for You. Praise the Lord for all the opportunities He gave me.

From Gina Conklin:
Hey there everyone! I am no longer at CIU, but I still live in Columbia. I was only at CIU for a semester, now I feel that God is leading me in another direction. I am now working at a daycare center and am the Head Teacher in the toddler dept. Hopefully this summer I will start attending Beauty School and be a hair dresser:) Well I hope you are all doing well! Giners

From Dave Fast:
Oh, hi, hows the weather? Anyway, it's been a longdang time, that is for those of you that weren't at any of the reunions. I'm doing ok up here in Ferndale, I'm working at Semi-ah-moo Marina full time, in my spare
time lounge around (no supprize huh!) I also am very dedicated to working with the high school ministry (not youth group!) at my new church, I am very excited about this year with the ministry good
things are happening already. No romance in my life yet, no romance in sight, things are just to good right now for romanceing a lady. Anyway if
you want to know more, not that there is anymore, just yell at me and I will try to holler back at yah. In Him who made us, Dave Fast
