I am so happy to "find" you all; I don't know why it took me so long to check the web. Obviously lots is new since 1995 but here are the basics. Graduated with a linguistics degree in April 2001. On May 26, 2001 I celebrated the best day of my life when I married a blessing of a husband, Jim Antonopoulos. (Thank goodness for Interac 'cause it's
tough to fit my signature on a single cheque line.) I am just thrilled about being an Aunty for the first time. (No plans on becoming a mom anytime soon.) Our newest life adventure is the possibility of moving to Taiwan to teach English for a year or two. If you're in Winnipeg in spring or summer DO contact me, we have a spare room waiting. My wife, Laurel, and I have been blessed by God with a beautiful baby girl. She was born May 28, 2004 and her name is Jael Renee.
Over the past five years I have come to know what it means when Christ said, "If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed" (John 8:36).
Through humbling myself and confessing the sin that I had been in bondage to for nine years, I found genuine repentance (2 Cor. 7:10-11). God is faithful, faithful to His word, He does give grace to the humble (James 4:6)! I am saved by grace, and the verygrace that brings salvation is teaching me to say 'No' to ungodliness and worldly lusts, so that I might live soberly, righteously and godly today (Eph. 2:8, Titus 2:11-12)!
